About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global commodity strategies for semiconductors
- Lead contract and price negotiations to reduce total cost of ownership
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, finance, and operations stakeholders
- Manage supplier performance through regular evaluations and QBRs
- Monitor commodity market trends and supply dynamics
- Conduct "should cost" studies to drive yearly cost reductions
- Collaborate with NPI and Engineering teams on procurement activities
Requirements
- BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor sourcing or procurement (including DRAM)
- Proven expertise in supplier and contract management
- Deep understanding of memory technologies (DDR4, DDR5, LPDDR5/5X, HBM)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a global or matrix organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SAP Ariba
