Strategic Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for Audio/Speakers sub-systems across Metaverse, Wearables, and emerging device programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to optimize performance, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency
• Lead complex negotiations for purchase agreements, NRE, capacity reservation, and long-term supply contracts
• Drive supplier innovation by conducting technology roadmap reviews and trade-space evaluations
• Utilize should-cost modeling and data analytics to champion cost reduction programs
• Manage supplier performance through regular business reviews and established measurement systems
• Create contingency plans to mitigate risks related to scalability, lead times, and geopolitical volatility
• Mentor and provide technical and commercial guidance to Global Supply Managers (GSMs)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials Science), Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years of sourcing experience in fast-paced consumer electronics or automotive industries
• Direct exposure to sourcing Audio/Speakers or comparable high-complexity commodities
• Proven experience in supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and supply base management
• Expertise in building bottoms-up or should-cost models (including raw materials, bill-of-process, and capex)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for supply modeling and complex data analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master of Engineering
• Established relationships with tier-1 global Audio suppliers
• Experience ramping high-volume consumer electronics or wearable products
• Experience working with CMs, ODMs, OEMs, and pack houses in the Audio domain
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive efficiency
