Strategic Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead EMENA sourcing activities to optimize total cost of ownership and ensure supply continuity
• Conduct market research and spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Identify and qualify alternative raw material suppliers
• Lead negotiations for high-impact indirect spend
• Manage the supplier database, including performance reviews and risk assessments
• Prepare analytical reports to support procurement KPIs and provide market insights

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of purchasing and negotiation experience
• At least 2 years of experience within the chemical industry
• Strong knowledge of EMENA chemical markets, sourcing processes, and category management
• Experience sourcing both direct and indirect materials
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience is preferred
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch or French is an advantage
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with sourcing in Asia and China
• Understanding of complex costing and financial principles
• Continuous improvement mindset
