Responsibilities

• Develop technically capable suppliers by evaluating manufacturing capability, quality systems, and capacity
• Strengthen component sourcing during New Product Introduction (NPI) by reviewing electrical and mechanical specifications
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks for critical components and long lead-time technologies
• Improve manufacturability through early design collaboration and component standardization
• Evaluate and qualify new suppliers through technical capability assessments and audits
• Monitor component availability risks by tracking supplier capacity and market conditions

Requirements

• BA/BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalency
• 5+ years in technical sourcing, manufacturing engineering, supplier quality, or supply chain
• Experience with PCB assemblies, power electronics, optical systems, or machined parts
• ERP proficiency (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne preferred)
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
• Strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills
