Strategic Sourcer

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional supply chain organizations to identify, structure, and execute strategic supplier agreements.
• Align internal program requirements with long-term enterprise business and financial objectives through MOAs and pricing agreements.
• Assess internal business needs for strategic partnerships and commodity management strategies.
• Aggregate program demands and forecasts to assist in long-term schedule and price agreements.
• Solicit suppliers, review proposals, and develop agreement structures to facilitate proactive purchase order creation.
• Review and maintain agreements, proactively renewing them to avoid gaps in future acquisitions.
• Travel up to 25% to USG/Customer locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of supply chain experience, OR Graduate Degree and 4+ years of supply chain experience, OR 10+ years of supply chain experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience drafting and negotiating contract agreements.
• Experience working within government contracting environments (e.g., FAR Part 15).

Preferred Qualifications

• Active or obtainable security clearance.
• Master’s degree or formal concentration in supply chain, operations management, or business.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Knowledge of cost/price analysis techniques and supplier cost structures.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to lead supplier negotiations and develop executive-level business case analyses.
