Strategic Retail Analyst - Sales Planning

About the Company

David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. More broadly, David is a platform to develop high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable. Led by CEO Peter Rahal, Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR, David is working to become the leading consumer food brand focused on high-protein foods in North America and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Own retail demand forecast models and key assumptions driving the S&OP process
• Build velocity assumptions at the SKU and retailer level
• Maintain real-time inventory visibility models across the supply chain
• Develop PO management frameworks to assist in inventory rationing during constraints
• Prepare weekly S&OE meeting decks synthesizing inventory positions and demand priorities
• Act as the primary analytical link between Retail and Supply Chain teams
• Design and maintain planning tools, dashboards, and trackers

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, or CPG/FMCG
• Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel
• Ability to build robust, flexible models
• Clear communication skills to translate supply chain complexity into commercial recommendations
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Experience with S&OP or S&OE processes is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with planning tools or BI platforms
• Familiarity with retail inventory management, DC replenishment, or PO management
