Strategic Projects Lead

About the Company

Deeptune builds training gyms for AI agents: high-fidelity simulation environments where AI learns to do real work through reinforcement learning. We work with the leading AI labs to help them train the next generation of agentic models.

Responsibilities

• Own data delivery end-to-end, including deadlines, throughput, and quality
• Solve ambiguous problems by building scalable solutions for the organization
• Recruit, train, and manage a distributed workforce of contributor teams
• Partner cross-functionally with engineers to scope technical requirements and flag blockers
• Identify bottlenecks and quality gaps to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in high-intensity environments like startups, consulting, or banking
• Proven track record of owning outcomes and delivering under pressure
• Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to systems improvement
• Clear communication skills for interacting with technical teams
• Ability to move between hands-on execution and systems-level thinking
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in AI/ML systems
• Ability to work in-person 5 days a week in Union Square, NYC

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data labeling or AI data operations
• Experience leading or managing teams
• Familiarity with SQL or Python
