Strategic Procurement Manager - Indirect Procurement

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal business partners, guiding them through the end-to-end procurement lifecycle from need identification to contract execution.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Infosec, IT, and FP&A to address technical, financial, and risk-related requirements.
• Manage multiple business unit engagements and high-volume procurement activities across diverse indirect spend categories.
• Collaborate with the Procurement team to develop, enhance, and execute effective category strategies.
• Support sourcing initiatives such as RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Maintain vendor relationships, manage contract renewals, and monitor supplier performance.
• Conduct market and supplier research to stay current on industry trends and benchmark pricing.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably within the software or technology domain.
• Proficiency in fundamental contractual terms and commercial agreements.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in indirect procurement within a mid-to-large sized enterprise.
• Familiarity with software licensing models and SaaS agreements.
• Experience with procurement tools such as NetSuite, or financial/ERP systems like Anaplan or Oracle.
• Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance procurement efficiency.
