Strategic Pricing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the development of strategic pricing to achieve sales and margin targets for the U.S. and Canada markets
• Partner with Product, Sales Engineering, and Product Information teams to establish standard option pricing
• Maintain competitive intelligence to assess market position using field, customer, and product insights
• Conduct margin and competitive pricing analysis to propose base model pricing aligned with cost structures
• Develop pricing for new options based on value, customer demand, and competitive benchmarks
• Manage customer adaptation quotes and lead pricing strategies for new product introductions
• Coordinate with Product Information to ensure accurate and up-to-date price books
• Analyze transactional data to inform discount strategies and recommend pricing adjustments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Advanced analytical skills and the ability to manage complex price segmentation and matrix structures
• Strong business and financial understanding
• 3-5 years of experience in a sales, engineering, finance, or production environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of Mack product offerings
• Experience using pricing software
• Experience in multi-faceted problem solving and customer/dealer contact
• Working knowledge of KOLA, Probuilder, mainframe, and invoicing systems
