About the role
Responsibilities
- Own and grow strategic partnerships with a portfolio of SMB restaurant partners
- Lead advanced merchant strategy and conduct high-impact business reviews
- Proactively adjust account plans and growth strategies based on market conditions
- Identify and mitigate risks to protect merchant health and performance
- Recommend and sell DoorDash products to support merchant growth and efficiency
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Sales teams
- Represent merchant insights internally to inform product improvements and GTM strategy
- Share best practices and support the development of other Partner Managers
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or post-sales roles
- Proven track record of driving growth and retention
- Strong executive presence and presentation skills
- Deep understanding of restaurant and hospitality industry, including P&L and unit economics
- Advanced analytical skills with experience in Salesforce, Outreach, Tableau, or Sigma
- Knowledge of third-party delivery platforms and multi-sided marketplaces
- Ability to synthesize data and industry trends into actionable recommendations
