Strategic Partner Manager II

Responsibilities

• Own and grow strategic partnerships with a portfolio of SMB restaurant partners
• Lead advanced merchant strategy and conduct high-impact business reviews
• Proactively adjust account plans and growth strategies based on market conditions
• Identify and mitigate risks to protect merchant health and performance
• Recommend and sell DoorDash products to support merchant growth and efficiency
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Sales teams
• Represent merchant insights internally to inform product improvements and GTM strategy
• Share best practices and support the development of other Partner Managers

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or post-sales roles
• Proven track record of driving growth and retention across a book of business
• Strong executive presence and ability to deliver compelling presentations
• Deep understanding of the restaurant and hospitality industry, including P&L and unit economics
• Advanced analytical skills using tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Tableau, or Sigma
• Knowledge of third-party delivery platforms, logistics, and multi-sided marketplaces
• Ability to synthesize data and industry trends into actionable recommendations
