About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify MSP/MSSP prospects that lack mature Identity Security expertise
- Build and execute strategic partner development plans, including customized value propositions
- Drive partnership agreements from negotiation through to closure
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Partner Programs and Sales Leadership, to execute unified strategies
- Maintain strong relationships with MSP/MSSP leadership to drive SailPoint products as part of their go-to-market strategy
- Activate and sustain sell-through motions to create a predictable pipeline and drive revenue growth
Requirements
- Proven sales and business development track record within the cybersecurity sector
- Extensive knowledge of the MSP/MSSP landscape
- Technical and business fluency in Identity Security and core cybersecurity principles (SOC, MDR/XDR, SIEM)
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to create territory or opportunity plans
- Excellent communication skills for discovery calls and presenting competitive value propositions
- Ability to lead virtual teams including presales, partner managers, and customer success

- Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in IT, business, or a sales-related field
