About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify and understand advertiser challenges regarding product planning, brand strategy, and sales promotion.
  • Propose strategic solutions and develop marketing plans based on consumer insights.
  • Formulate media planning to maximize advertising effectiveness.
  • Direct and produce creative development and copywriting.
  • Conduct data-driven performance analysis and provide strategic optimization proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal Amazon advertising departments and other business units to drive projects.
  • Build strategic partnerships with advertisers, agencies, and media representatives to drive long-term business growth.

Requirements

  • Native-level fluency in Japanese.
  • Business-level English proficiency for professional communication and meetings.
  • 5+ years of sales experience or experience driving revenue growth through partner collaboration.
  • Foundational knowledge of internet advertising products and the digital advertising industry.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year university.
  • Excellent organizational, relationship-building, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Marketing, Advertising, Statistics, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in online advertising sales.
  • Practical experience in integrated marketing communications.
  • Experience in omnichannel marketing, display, OTT, or search marketing.
  • Proficiency in programmatic strategy and implementation.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and contributing to advertiser growth.
  • Experience using Generative AI tools to improve operational efficiency and quality.
