Strategic Insights and Innovation Specialist, Analyst

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer insights and business intelligence to support strategic objectives and operational excellence.
• Analyze internal and external customer needs using emerging technologies to design innovative, customer-centric solutions.
• Identify trends, forecast performance, and summarize root causes of operational challenges.
• Monitor industry leaders and benchmarking utilities to identify best practices and develop implementation plans.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Customer Experience, Field Operations, and Corporate Communications.
• Translate complex data and technical information into clear, concise insights for non-technical audiences.
• Manage and refine project backlogs to ensure timely execution and completion.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to support rollout strategies and drive adoption of process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, market research, marketing, or communications.
• 5+ years of customer-facing experience within utilities or self-service-focused industries (e.g., banking, travel).
• 5+ years of project or process management experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Expert-level proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and AI-enabled tools (e.g., Copilot).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in predictive analytics and primary/secondary research methodologies.
