Strategic Information Advisor

Responsibilities

• Provide Strategic Information Advisor support to DHAPP, including managing a portfolio of countries and writing Python and R code
• Access, manage, clean, and visualize data from multiple PEPFAR and DHAPP data systems
• Develop, modify, and maintain software, scripts, and analytical tools for routine and ad hoc reporting
• Provide policy and technical input for HIV SI strategies
• Coordinate SI efforts with USG, implementing partners, and host-country government personnel
• Prepare briefing materials, technical reports, and program documentation
• Conduct integrated analysis to facilitate decision-making for PEPFAR and agency stakeholders

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum two years of experience in international health, HIV/AIDS programs, or public health analytics
• Advanced knowledge of data management, analysis, monitoring, and evaluation methodologies
• Proficiency in Python, R, Excel, and Tableau
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (10–25%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting a U.S. Government agency, military organization, or international health organization
• Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) software and spatial data analysis
