About the role
Responsibilities
- Build a high-quality pipeline through a strong prospecting strategy and structured sales activities
- Present product solutions and value propositions to prospective clients
- Collaborate with internal product, marketing, legal, risk, and technology teams to execute agreements
- Apply sales methodology to negotiate and close complex deals
- Conduct prospect interviews to identify needs and recommend tailored solutions
- Increase brand awareness by attending industry events and conferences
- Provide market and competitive landscape feedback to the leadership team
- Maintain detailed interaction records in Salesforce
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years of successful sales experience in technology startups or commercial B2B
- Proven track record of selling into banking, credit unions, or financial services
- Experience with complex consultative sales cycles
- Exposure to software products in the data management space
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial services institutional sales experience with a SaaS provider
- Experience in data aggregation or data sharing
- Experience marketing or selling products as part of a commercial business
