Strategic Finance Manager

About the Company

Endurance is building the world's first modular subsea geothermal power plants, converting vast thermal resources under the ocean into gigawatts of baseload power. Backed by Founders Fund, Felicis, First Round Capital, and Point72 Ventures, our founding team includes veterans from SpaceX, Helion, and Robinhood.

Responsibilities

• Build and own project-level financial models for pricing, CAPEX, delivered cost of energy, capital stacks, and returns
• Maintain the company's cost-of-capital trajectory and proforma pricing/CAPEX models
• Support live negotiations with pricing scenarios, term sheet economics, and sensitivity analyses
• Score pipeline projects against evaluation frameworks and maintain deal-economics data
• Model government and development finance instruments including grants and loan guarantees
• Build and maintain data rooms for partners, customers, and future lenders
• Support commercial team pipeline reporting and agreement tracking
• Work with outside counsel to translate economic terms into agreement language
• Develop pricing and structuring analyses for new markets and deal types
• Lead real-time economics, pricing, and industry intelligence for global commercial and project finance

Requirements

• Approximately 7 years of experience structuring and modeling capital for real projects or transactions
• Experience building infrastructure-grade, auditable project financial models from scratch
• Advanced Excel modeling skills with clean, auditable architecture
• Ability to integrate blended capital (government, multilateral, private credit, etc.) into project finance
• Strong understanding of energy or infrastructure project economics and levelized cost concepts
• Experience with counterparty due diligence and responding to investor/lender inquiries
• Strong writing skills for term sheets, internal memos, and counterparty presentations
• Excellent communication skills for negotiating commercial terms and presenting to executives
• Ability to operate with ambiguity, incomplete data, and short timelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to first-of-a-kind or pre-bankable technology financing
• Familiarity with development finance instruments like political risk insurance or export credit facilities
• Prior experience with infrastructure transactions outside the US market
• Familiarity with PPAs, tolling structures, or capacity contracts
• Network with hyperscalers, data centers, utilities, or industrial partners
• Experience supporting live negotiations as the analytical lead
