Strategic Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Assembled's operating model and unit economics framework
• Support the annual, quarterly, and long-range planning cycles end-to-end
• Partner cross-functionally with business leaders across GTM, Product, Engineering, and G&A on budgeting, forecasting, and investment evaluation
• Track financial and operational KPIs and build dashboards to drive accountability
• Contribute to board-level financial materials and support future fundraising processes
• Monitor cash flow, burn, ARR, and other key metrics
• Partner with Accounting to streamline close processes and improve reporting cadence
• Drive ad-hoc analyses including pricing, packaging, COGS, and GTM efficiency

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, investment banking, or private equity
• Track record of building financial models from scratch
• Working understanding of SaaS drivers such as ARR, NRR, gross margin, and CAC payback
• Exceptional financial modeling skills in Excel/Google Sheets
• Ability to translate analysis into clean narratives for executive audiences
• High ownership mentality and ability to thrive in ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct operating experience inside a high-growth SaaS business
• SQL or BI fluency
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or Ramp
• Prior investment banking background
