Strategic Finance Lead

About the Company

Metriport is an open-source data intelligence platform that helps healthcare organizations access and exchange patient data in real-time. We integrate with all major US healthcare IT systems and tap into comprehensive medical data for 300+ million individuals.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire financial stack end-to-end, including banking, invoicing, bookkeeping, and FP&A
• Own month-end and year-end close processes to ensure pristine books by the 15th of each month
• Support the Sales team by driving RevOps efforts and integrating systems like HubSpot, Stripe, and QuickBooks
• Track and improve collections rates, budget vs. actuals (BVA), and departmental purchase request turnaround
• Serve as the professional face of the company to accountants, investors, vendors, and customers

Requirements

• 5+ years in Investment Banking, MBB Consulting, or a high-growth startup (Seed to Series B)
• 2+ years of experience creating or improving professional processes from scratch
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field
• Expert-level Excel and Google Sheets skills
• Strong PowerPoint skills for distilling complex data into narratives
• Ability to work onsite in San Francisco 5 days a week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience automating workflows via Zapier or Python
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Brex or Ramp, Stripe, and CRMs
• Experience in the Healthcare IT or Healthtech space
