Strategic Finance Lead

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to build financial models for operating decisions, scenario planning, and board reporting
• Analyze performance across healthcare services, technology, and commercial partnership models
• Translate financial and operational data into actionable insights for cross-functional leaders
• Support budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and margin/pricing analysis
• Build reporting for multiple revenue models including B2B SaaS, D2C subscriptions, and clinical services
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Improve financial reporting processes, billing workflows, and internal controls
• Implement automation and AI-enabled workflow improvements to scale finance infrastructure

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, or accounting
• Healthcare industry experience or strong fluency in healthcare business models
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and business analysis skills
• Solid accounting foundation including revenue recognition, accruals, and reconciliations
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with business leaders
• Ability to operate in ambiguity with a high-ownership mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting
• Experience at a high-growth startup (Seed through Series B)
• Experience with hybrid business models (SaaS, services, and marketplace)
• Exposure to fundraising support, M&A, or board reporting
• Experience with ABA, behavioral health, or Medicaid
• Proficiency with SQL, BI tools, or modern planning tools
• CPA or formal accounting background
