Strategic Finance Lead

Responsibilities

• Own FP&A for all live-site datacenter operating costs including lease/rent, power, hardware ops, facility/DC ops, physical security, warehousing, and operator fees
• Build and maintain per-site cost forecasts for monthly reviews and board reporting
• Run budget-vs-actual on datacenter developer spend and site build budgets
• Own the in-year power cost model across pass-through and direct costs
• Reconcile operating partner invoices to forecast and lead the finance operating cadence
• Partner with Accounting on contract operationalization, lease accounting, and close
• Lead financial analysis for site-level optimization initiatives and operating model decisions
• Partner with the Datacenter Expansion lead on deal-to-operations handoffs

Requirements

• Experience in strategic finance, infrastructure investment, FP&A, private equity, consulting, or investment banking
• Experience with datacenter, energy, real estate, telco, or managed-services infrastructure
• Proven track record of owning an infrastructure operating P&L
• Exceptional analytical skills and ability to develop complex financial operating models
• Ability to partner with technical operating teams and external vendors
• Strong relationship building, business judgment, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategic finance or infrastructure investment
• Direct experience with datacenter, colocation, or power (PPA / energy procurement) economics
• Experience managing finance cadence with a third-party operator
• Background in AI, ML, or high-performance computing infrastructure
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, and Excel
• MBA or advanced degree in finance, economics, or business
