Strategic Finance Associate

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the company’s fully integrated financial model, including three-statement modeling and rolling forecasts
• Lead monthly and quarterly variance analysis and provide executive-ready commentary
• Build customer and product-level pricing models and unit economics analysis
• Lead financial modeling for M&A opportunities, including DCF/LBO valuation and synergy modeling
• Own the long-range financial plan and convert strategic initiatives into detailed projections
• Support structuring and evaluation of joint ventures and strategic partnerships
• Drive capital allocation frameworks and prepare board materials and investor reporting
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and Engineering to embed financial rigor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance
• Experience with variance analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or advanced degree in finance or business
• Exceptional financial modeling skills and strong command of Excel
• Private equity or growth equity experience
• Experience in manufacturing, deep tech, or hardware-intensive businesses
• Experience with financial planning tools like Mosaic, Pigment, or Adaptive
