Strategic Finance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support financial model development to track revenue and cost drivers
• Analyze historical and forward-looking trends for revenue, COGS, and margin
• Assist in pricing strategy analysis including usage patterns and customer segments
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Managers, and Sales to evaluate new product features
• Use SQL to navigate complex data structures and find actionable insights
• Leverage AI-assisted SQL and Snowflake Intelligence to automate reporting
• Build automated, high-visibility dashboards for Product and Finance leaders
• Identify abnormalities in infrastructure spend to optimize cloud costs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience (including internships or academic research)
• Strong analytical aptitude and ability to work with quantitative data
• High technical agility and ability to learn SQL and complex data schemas
• Familiarity with revenue, COGS, and margin analysis concepts
• Exceptional communication skills to translate complex data for stakeholders
• Ownership mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity
