Strategic Engagements SME

Responsibilities

• Support the STARCOM Commander's Action Group by providing strategic engagement support.
• Advise senior leaders on attendance at symposia, public events, speaking engagements, and conferences.
• Organize, plan, and execute senior-level planning conferences and engagements.
• Coordinate closely with protocol and strategic communication teams during event execution.
• Write, edit, and disseminate executive correspondence for the Commander and senior leaders.
• Manage event logistics, including itineraries, scheduling, room preparation, seating charts, and attendee check-in.
• Capture meeting notes and track action items for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance (Secret clearance may be considered).
• BA/BS degree or 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience specifically in strategic engagements.
• Proven experience providing strategic advice, technical guidance, and analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality work in a high-tempo environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous headquarters experience within the US Space Force, US Air Force, or Combatant Command.
• Familiarity with US Space Force weapon systems and missions.
• Experience working professionally with senior military leaders and action officers.
