Strategic Email Deliverability Consultant

Responsibilities

• Take charge of email deliverability to ensure outgoing messages reach the inbox rather than spam folders
• Monitor and optimize email performance metrics including open rates, click-through rates, and bounce rates
• Stay updated on email compliance trends and regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and authentication evolutions
• Perform deep-dive data analytics to identify and resolve issues affecting deliverability
• Implement best practices for email authentication and security
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to suggest features for effective email campaigns
• Work with the services team to develop best practice guidelines for global customers

Requirements

• 6-8 years of professional experience in email deliverability and inbox placement
• Proven experience working within the marketing automation field
• Strong data analytical skills with the ability to generate actionable insights from complex datasets
• Deep understanding of email scalability and technical authentication protocols
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills for interacting with customers and stakeholders
• Working knowledge of GDPR and CCPA compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing high-volume email environments (billions of messages annually)
• Ability to influence customer adoption of best practices and challenge existing workflows
