Strategic Director - MSME Digital Lending

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of an end-to-end MSME digital lending journey by building a scalable, data-driven credit operating model.
• Develop a modular MSME credit framework leveraging credit bureau data, transactional data, and behavioral data.
• Design and implement a fully digital lending journey, including onboarding automation, credit assessment, approval, disbursement, and monitoring.
• Build portfolio analytics and risk monitoring capabilities, including early warning systems and credit-health monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, and Technology teams to launch automated disbursement solutions and digital documentation.
• Lead a cross-functional team of 20–50 FTEs, including Project Managers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.
• Own the end-to-end initiative delivery roadmap and provide strategic recommendations to the Transformation Director.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in MSME lending or SME banking.
• Proven expertise in credit product development.
• Extensive experience in lending operations or Loan Origination System (LOS) implementation.
• A successful track record in digital lending transformation.
• Hands-on experience with credit scoring and decision engine implementation.
• Deep knowledge of MSME financing models and the full credit lifecycle.
