About the role
Responsibilities
As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will progress through a 5 phased program to learn every aspect of our business:
- Phase 1 - Warehouse Logistics: Learn products, vendor-to-customer flow, and sales support.
- Phase 2 - Operations: Customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory, pricing, and financial statements.
- Phase 3 - Inside Sales/Project Management: Managing customer issues and large-scale projects.
- Phase 4 - Outside Sales/Account Management: Finding new business, negotiating contracts, and building relationships.
- Phase 5 - Career Path Determination: Applying training to select an ideal career path.
Requirements
- College and/or University degree
- Positive attitude and results oriented mindset
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
