Strategic Development Program Intern

Responsibilities

• Participate in five phases of the strategic development program to learn all aspects of the business
• Phase 1: Warehouse logistics, product knowledge, and shipping/receiving
• Phase 2: Operations including customer service, counter sales, inventory control, and financial statements
• Phase 3: Inside sales and project management
• Phase 4: Customer management and supply chain, including finding new sales outlets and negotiating contracts
• Phase 5: Career path establishment based on learned skills

Requirements

• College or university degree
• Positive, results-oriented attitude
• Strong desire to learn and continuous progress
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• High standards of integrity and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills for building client and supplier relationships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Openness to manual labor during the first two phases

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or knowledge of plumbing and construction products
