Strategic Deployment Manager

Schrödinger is a leading computational science company pioneering the use of physics-based molecular simulation and machine learning to accelerate drug discovery and materials design for the world's top pharmaceutical and biotech organizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage LiveDesign implementation projects end-to-end, from early-stage discovery through deployment, training, and sustained adoption
• Serve as the primary contact for existing accounts, providing responsive support and consultative advice
• Conduct regular usage monitoring and synthesize customer feedback to inform product roadmap decisions
• Identify and prioritize target accounts within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors
• Plan and execute high-impact value demonstration activities including workshops and seminars
• Lead support Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements with prospective customers
• Partner with Account Managers, Application Scientists, and Solution Architects to drive account growth
• Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to represent real-world customer needs

Requirements

• BSc in a life science (MSc or PhD preferred)
• At least three years of experience in a life sciences field related to drug discovery
• Experience with computational chemistry or cheminformatics in a research setting
• Experience in leading or coordinating a software project
• Native Japanese language skills for business communications and market research
• Business level English communication skills for global collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with pharmaceutical drug discovery
• Expertise in pharmaceutical enterprise software technology
