Strategic Buyer Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Partner with Category and Project Procurement Managers to implement and align category strategies with business needs
• Lead complex negotiations, manage RFQs, and define awarding decisions
• Manage catalogues and framework agreements at divisional and regional levels
• Select and develop suppliers to strengthen the supply base and identify new market opportunities
• Resolve supplier-related issues regarding quality, delivery, and service performance
• Support the scouting of new technologies and materials in collaboration with R&D and Production
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement through KPI delivery
• Promote digitalization and automation within procurement tools and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or economic field
• 5+ years of experience in procurement processes
• Strong background in international contract management
• Deep knowledge of CNC machining, welded structures, and carpentry
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Fluent English communication skills
• Experience working within complex, multinational organizations
• Proven expertise in large-scale, complex negotiations

Preferred Qualifications

• Procurement or Supply Chain certification
