Strategic Buyer

Responsibilities

• Work closely with category managers to implement category strategies and link them to business needs
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing for spare parts and performance initiatives
• Adapt and implement catalogues and framework contracts at the divisional and regional levels
• Manage RFQs, run negotiations, and make awarding decisions in line with category strategy
• Execute supplier selection, including supplier base development and identification of new suppliers
• Resolve supplier issues regarding quality, delivery, and service
• Monitor and communicate supplier performance
• Drive automation and digitalization practices and tool improvements
• Ensure compliance with procurement processes, policies, and statutory requirements
• Maintain accountability for achieving and reporting agreed KPIs

Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Proven experience in procurement processes and international contract management
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing RFx processes
• Proficiency in cost analysis and management
• Experience with SAP, Ariba, S2P, or other ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the food, dairy, or beverage industry
• Experience with construction and field installation projects
• Bachelor's degree or Procurement/Supply Chain certification
