Strategic Buyer

Responsibilities

• Ensure the factory in Ulricehamn is supplied with the right materials, on time, and under the right conditions
• Manage both direct and indirect strategic and operational procurement
• Develop supplier relationships and evaluate/compete suppliers
• Handle complaint cases and participate in new product development
• Act as a consultant for new factory investments
• Collaborate with strategic buyers in other units globally to create synergies

Requirements

• Several years of experience in qualified procurement within the manufacturing industry
• Proven experience in negotiating and managing international supplier collaborations
• Ability to analyze market changes and maintain business acumen
• Knowledge of customs processes, import regulations, and logistics chains is a merit
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships
