Strategic Buyer Aroma North America

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic procurement and raw material sourcing for the Aroma Performance business
• Develop and deploy forward-thinking sourcing and category strategies aligned with business goals
• Negotiate high-value supplier agreements, SLAs, and compliance controls
• Monitor global market trends, supply chain dynamics, and cost movements to drive strategic advantage
• Identify and deliver cost savings, innovation opportunities, and productivity improvements
• Proactively manage supply chain risk and promote high standards in procurement ethics and sustainability
• Utilize SAP and digital procurement platforms to ensure seamless execution and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Chemistry, or Economics (MBA is a plus)
• 3+ years of strategic procurement experience, preferably in the chemicals or manufacturing sector
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
• Fluency in ERP systems, ideally SAP
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market signals
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work collaboratively across a global organization
