Strategic Buyer

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer spending and needs to identify improvement opportunities
• Develop procurement strategies and manage the entire transaction cycle
• Negotiate agreements and contracts to obtain optimal commercial terms
• Assess procurement risks and develop mitigation action plans
• Coordinate strategic activities including RFIs, RFQs, and calls for tenders
• Maintain strong partnerships with current and new suppliers
• Monitor market trends and conduct research on new products and services
• Provide management with analysis and reports on achieved savings

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in procurement or a relevant domain
• Bilingual in French and English
• Education in business administration, commerce, finance, or engineering
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of data management tools and performance analysis
• Experience in raw materials procurement (diesel, gas, lubricants, etc.)
