About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute new business strategies and territory plans for the India market.
  • Drive net-new customer acquisition through high-volume prospecting, discovery, and demos.
  • Lead insight-led conversations to connect customer priorities to commercial value.
  • Act as a brand ambassador to build trusted relationships with C-level executives.
  • Identify expansion opportunities and cross-sell motions within existing accounts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through negotiation and contracting.
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline management and forecasting using Salesforce.com.
  • Collaborate with global Energy divisions to identify cross-selling opportunities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of successful quota-carrying experience in consultative selling.
  • Proven track record in new customer acquisition and full-cycle sales management.
  • Experience selling complex data or technology solutions.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and disciplined sales workflows.
  • Fluency in English and the local language of the state.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to the data center and energy sectors.
  • Established relationships with Hyperscalers (e.g., Microsoft, Google, AWS).
  • Strong analytical skills in sales planning and reporting.
  • Ability to align short-term sales goals with long-term divisional objectives.
