About the role
Responsibilities
- Proactively source, hunt, and secure new federal contracts to drive revenue growth
- Develop and sustain long-term partnerships with key federal agency stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to scale presence within existing federal accounts
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and deployment teams on federal compliance
- Lead complex contract negotiations, renewals, and RFP responses
- Track account health, pipeline accuracy, and revenue targets
- Monitor federal policy changes, budget cycles, and competitive landscape
- Act as the primary internal voice for federal client feedback
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise sales or account management experience in the Federal/Government vertical
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar sales quotas
- Deep understanding of federal procurement, GSA schedules, and FAR regulations
- Ability to articulate value of AI, IoT, and cloud-based security hardware
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for high-ranking officials
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools
