About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned Academic, Government, and Biopharma institutions to meet revenue goals.
  • Build and own strategic relationships with top Architect & Engineer (A&E) firms to influence specifications and design decisions.
  • Serve as the commercial lead for high-value capital opportunities from initial identification through to close.
  • Proactively originate new business opportunities through market mapping and early-stage project identification.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment between sales, service, operations, and finance to deliver integrated customer solutions.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of market trends and customer capital planning cycles to convert insights into growth.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in strategic sales, capital equipment, or account management within the Life Sciences or Healthcare sectors.
  • Proven experience selling complex capital equipment.
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce (GForce).
  • Ability to travel extensively (approximately 50%) throughout the US and occasionally internationally.
  • Strong ability to present to technical and executive-level stakeholders.
