About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end new logo sales processes from prospecting through close, including discovery, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
  • Independently source and manage a new business pipeline to achieve annual sales targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders, including C-level executives and VPs.
  • Conduct effective account discovery using sales frameworks to craft compelling pitches and handle objections.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
  • Meticulously track all sales activities and pipeline hygiene using Salesforce.
  • Represent Veson at industry trade events, conferences, and executive roundtables.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS enterprise software sales.
  • Proven track record of closing 6-figure transactions and exceeding sales goals.
  • Willingness to travel 40-50% to meet with prospects.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and sales productivity tools.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the maritime, shipping, or commodity trading industry.
  • Expertise in sales frameworks such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Sandler.
  • Existing network of relationships within target maritime or trading sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in high-performance sales environments (e.g., President's Club).
