About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic revenue growth by penetrating high-value SLED prospect and customer accounts
  • Drive complex land-and-expand deals for multi-year platform adoption
  • Partner with C-level and IT executive decision-makers on IAM and cybersecurity roadmaps
  • Execute proactive, data-driven outbound engagement plans for public sector agencies
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle including RFI/RFP responses and contract negotiations
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and Product Experts

Requirements

  • 10+ years of successful sales experience within the SLED central market
  • 3+ years of direct experience selling IAM or Cybersecurity solutions
  • Proven track record of closing large complex deals in government and education
  • Established network of C-level and IT executive contacts in the Western US
  • Experience working with system integrators and channel partners in SLED
  • Deep knowledge of IAM concepts like SSO, MFA, Federation, and API Security
  • Mastery of MEDDPICC qualification methodology
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for customer meetings and conferences
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s Degree in Business or Technology
  • Relevant cybersecurity certification such as CISSP or CISM
