About the role
Responsibilities
- Target expansion opportunities within assigned US Federal Agencies
- Research target accounts and develop effective prospecting campaigns
- Lead the entire sales cycle from initial opportunity creation to final closing
- Drive the discovery process through meetings with prospects and clients
- Utilize Value Framework to sell and forecast accurately
- Collaborate with the sales ecosystem and Medallia Partners to support opportunities
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and share best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of field sales experience at an Enterprise software/SaaS organization
- Proven track record of selling SaaS solutions into federal agencies
- Deep understanding of the federal procurement process
- Proven top performer in a quota-carrying sales role
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling SaaS solutions into the IRS or other Department of the Treasury bureaus
- Demonstrated experience managing lengthy sales cycles within large strategic accounts
- Experience selling complex business applications/technology solutions at the C-Suite level
- Success in building strong pipelines and nurturing key enterprise accounts
