About the role

Responsibilities

  • Target expansion opportunities within assigned US Federal Agencies
  • Research target accounts and develop effective prospecting campaigns
  • Lead the entire sales cycle from initial opportunity creation to final closing
  • Drive the discovery process through meetings with prospects and clients
  • Utilize Value Framework to sell and forecast accurately
  • Collaborate with the sales ecosystem and Medallia Partners to support opportunities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and share best practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years of field sales experience at an Enterprise software/SaaS organization
  • Proven track record of selling SaaS solutions into federal agencies
  • Deep understanding of the federal procurement process
  • Proven top performer in a quota-carrying sales role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling SaaS solutions into the IRS or other Department of the Treasury bureaus
  • Demonstrated experience managing lengthy sales cycles within large strategic accounts
  • Experience selling complex business applications/technology solutions at the C-Suite level
  • Success in building strong pipelines and nurturing key enterprise accounts
