About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic account and territory plans to maximize expansion and ensure customer success
- Act as the primary point of contact and escalation point for designated strategic accounts
- Identify and build strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers
- Understand customer business objectives to position Atlassian solutions effectively
- Lead complex negotiations and contract discussions
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Channel Partners, Product Specialists, and Solution Engineers, to streamline sales processes
- Provide regular sales performance updates and forecasts to senior management
Requirements
- 10+ years of quota-carrying Enterprise Software Sales experience
- Proven experience driving multi-million dollar transformation deals in large global accounts
- Extensive experience engaging and building relationships with C-level executives
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex procurement processes and multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in leading highly matrixed, cross-functional support teams across different geographies
- Strong experience utilizing CRM tools to manage performance metrics and sales pipelines
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets through a consultative, solution-oriented approach
