Strain Gauge Installation Technician/Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work within a load cell production facility
• Build, calibrate, and test load sensors
• Adhere to production schedules, output targets, and quality standards
• Collaborate with operations to optimize parts forecasting
• Train less experienced team members

Requirements

• Strong experience with strain gauging
• Knowledge of analog electronics
• Understanding of material impacts on strain gauge and adhesive choice
• Proficiency in surface preparations and knowledge of strain gauge suppliers
• Background in mechanical and electronic assembly, ideally with sensor products
• Experience with calibration procedures and test equipment
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Experience in low-to-medium volume, high-precision production environments
• Understanding of capacity management
• Experience with digital twin-like systems, production data logging, and quality control
• Experience with ISO9001
• Familiarity with lean, six-sigma, or kaizen methodologies
