STR Operations Development Program

Responsibilities

• Participate in a two-year traineeship designed to develop future commercial operators within Shell Trading & Supply
• Gain hands-on experience in various positions within the field of Trading Operations
• Act as a primary contact for ports worldwide, traders, customs, and internal stakeholders
• Set up contracts with traders and manage logistical planning for transportation
• Evaluate and decide on the validity of commercial claims

Requirements

• Bachelor’s (HBO) or Master’s degree
• Strong interest in Supply Chain, Trading, or Oil & Freight Operations
• Fluency in English (German or French language skills are an advantage)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and work resiliently in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated team player capable of working independently after initial training
