Stores Operative

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts and reconciliation
• Record all inventory movements in SAP in real time
• Receive inbound deliveries, verify documentation, and inspect goods
• Book goods into SAP and route materials to correct storage locations
• Prepare production kits according to BOM requirements and schedules
• Keep the stores area clean, safe, and compliant with H&S requirements
• Support stock layout improvements and 5S activities

Requirements

• Experience in a stores, warehouse, or materials handling role
• Working knowledge of SAP (Inventory Management / Warehouse Management)
• Experience with goods receiving, stock control, and kitting
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely
• Basic IT skills including Excel and JIRA
• Level 2 or Level 3 Warehouse & Storage qualification or equivalent
• GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or production environments
• Understanding of BOMs and material flow
