About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily stores and inventory activities for aircraft parts, tools, and equipment to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Support the Head of Maintenance in developing policies, operating procedures, and systems for inventory management.
  • Maintain an inspection system to monitor material shelf life, tool calibration, and environmental controls (temperature/humidity).
  • Partner with Engineering and Maintenance stakeholders to ensure timely availability of manpower, components, and spare parts.
  • Monitor stock levels for high-demand items such as wheels, batteries, oils, and fluids.
  • Supervise team performance, manage resource allocation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee SLAs with manufacturers and vendors and assist in audit preparations and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR on budgeting, recruitment, training, and performance appraisals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Project Management certificate or equivalent proven professional experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in the airline industry under aircraft maintenance management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a Stores and Inventory section.
  • Proven experience with DAC aircraft maintenance rules and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications or training in Cost Control, Budgeting, Compliance, or Quality Assurance.
  • Experience designing and implementing operating manuals and policies in line with regulatory standards.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
