Stores Inspector

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between Procurement, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance to ensure timely availability of aircraft technical procurement
• Monitor stores functions, including item systems, data flow, material shelf life, and tool calibration
• Conduct inspections on deliverable items and documentation to verify compatibility with technical data
• Ensure parts are stored, maintained, and issued according to approved safety standards and regulations
• Verify inbound and outbound shipments regarding documentation, labeling, packing, and serviceability
• Monitor the storage and transportation of chemicals and dangerous goods in compliance with IATA DG regulations
• Manage shelf life and calibration reports to ensure expired items are removed or repaired
• Coordinate with the procurement and inventory teams to manage stock levels and quarantine areas
• Partner with the Stores Supervisor to prepare for audits and ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institution
• 3-4 years of related experience within the aviation industry
• Knowledge of ECAA rules and regulations pertaining to aircraft technical spare parts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a rotating shift pattern
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with low-cost airlines
• IATA Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations training
• Experience using inventory software
• Familiarity with IQSMS reporting procedures and quality audits
