Storeroom Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage overall storeroom operations, including ordering parts, receiving and inspecting incoming items, and ensuring proper storage.
• Perform cycle counts and bulk inventories of equipment and storeroom items to maintain accuracy.
• Input and maintain data within the computer inventory system and master file.
• Coordinate the setup, modification, or deletion of storeroom parts and manage overstock or surplus items.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Generate weekly computer reports regarding all receipts and disbursements.
• Prepare items for outgoing shipment, including processing shipping orders, airfreight bills, and bills of lading.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization within the storeroom and related areas.
• Comply with all job safety practices, environmental regulations, and corporate directives.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of job-related experience.
• Proficiency in using computers and managing digital inventory systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Capability to operate a forklift (or willingness to learn).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, including exposure to noise and chemicals.
