Storekeeper

Responsibilities

• Manage the ordering, receiving, and stocking of material inventory
• Conduct routine physical inventory and monitor automatic replenishment levels
• Perform Maximo data entry to charge materials and maintain required files
• Coordinate with vendors and the EDC to resolve shipment and supply problems
• Identify, inspect, and process materials for salvage or disposal
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe stores facility
• Adhere to all company safety rules and participate in safety meetings
• Monitor and manage bad order transformers, meters, and lighting

Requirements

• Prior forklift experience (3-5 years preferred)
• Previous warehouse experience (3-5 years preferred)
• Proficiency in basic math calculations and basic computer operations
• Working knowledge of Maximo or similar Warehouse Management Software
• Ability to lift 60-80 lbs and drag or roll 110 lb wire coils
• Ability to learn the nomenclature of standard electric utility materials
