Storekeeper

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and materials within the warehouse by maintaining stock levels and ensuring secure, organized storage.
• Receive and verify incoming stock against purchase orders, checking for quantity and quality.
• Track all incoming and outgoing materials accurately using inventory management software and ERP systems.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Oversee the physical flow of materials, including goods reception, warehousing, line-side replenishment, and shipping.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and 5S housekeeping principles to maintain a safe work environment.
• Implement FIFO/LIFO inventory methods to minimize spoilage or obsolescence.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and facilitating inspections.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate (NCS).
• 2–3 years of warehousing experience, including receiving and dispatching materials.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Valid Forklift or equivalent equipment license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or an equivalent field.
• SAP ERP system knowledge.
• SAPICS certification.
