Store Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the second-in-charge of sales initiatives, supporting the Store Manager in driving sales and profit.
• Lead and coach the Sales Team to deliver legendary customer service and meet selling metrics.
• Drive a robust selling culture by implementing GURA initiatives (Greet, Uncover, Recommend, Ask).
• Oversee daily operational activities including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and bank deposits.
• Maintain superior product knowledge and facilitate continuous training for the sales team.
• Ensure a safe and productive work environment by enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Manage floor coverage and assign team members to ensure optimal customer service.
• Perform physical tasks including operating a forklift and baler, and assisting customers with loading purchases.

Requirements

• Previous retail leadership experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move merchandise.
• Ability to operate a forklift and baler.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior sales and supervisory experience.
• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
